How is RPA different from Workflows?

The truth is, the lines get blurry when deciphering between the two. RPA interacts at the user interface (UI) level by mapping fields in a program or application. RPA is the bot that has been trained on how to interact with a human.

Workflows work between applications at the data layer with API calls and are typically behind the scenes. Most interactions with a workflow are a notification that a step was performed or needs to be performed.
