How do I start creating a new survey?
Easy peasy! Just find the surveys application in your Capacity console and click on that bright + New Survey button in the top right. Give your new survey a catchy name and hit save!
Adding questions seems important. How do I do that?
You bet it is! In the survey builder, look for the friendly + button. Click it, and you’ll be ready to craft your perfect questions!
I'm a busy bee. Does Capacity save my survey work automatically?
Absolutely! All your edits are saved as you go. Just remember that to make those changes live, you’ll need to publish your survey.
Can I see what my survey will look like before it goes live? I don't want any surprises!
We hear you! Our Preview Survey mode is exactly what you need. Just click the preview button and you can walk through your survey. You’ll need to publish at least once to activate the preview magic.
Where do I find the precious survey results once they're collected?
After your survey has done its job, go back to where you created it. In the top right, you’ll see three little buttons. Click ’em, and one of the options will be Download Responses. That’s the gold you’re looking for!
And where exactly do these downloaded results end up?
They’ll usually pop up as a file at the bottom of your screen, ready for you to open and analyze.
How can I actually get my survey out to people?
We’ve got a couple of great ways! You can launch it through any Capacity Web Concierge on your company’s websites. Just tell us the webpage URL in the survey settings. You can also share a special survey link.

Once you’ve told us the webpage URL for your Capacity Web Concierge, we’ll activate a survey share link for you. Just click the link button and copy the survey URL to share!
Can I just email the survey to my list? That's how I usually roll.
Yep! You can definitely share that survey link via email. The exact process might depend on whether your web concierge is for folks who are logged in or not (we don’t have all those specific details in these sources, but the link is your key!).
Will the test responses I made during the preview mess up my real data?
Nope, not at all! All those responses you make in preview mode are marked as “test” responses, and you can easily filter them out when you’re looking at your final results.
