Congratulations on your new role as a Senior Customer Success Manager! How would you summarize your new responsibilities?
In my new role as the Senior Customer Success Manager, I will focus on building relationships and working with our enterprise clients and strategic partners. I will also spend more time identifying and designing processes to automate manual tasks, building advanced workflows, and optimizing implementation.
What is a project that you’re most proud of in your last role as the Customer Success Manager? Why?
I’m proud of so many of the projects I’ve worked on in my role as a Customer Success Manager. It is wonderful to see so many of our customers succeed, such as ISDA, Planet Home Lending, PRMG, and Voxtur to name a few. Being a part of bringing the vision of Capacity into reality is always rewarding.
What are you most excited about in your new role?
I’m excited to continue working with our amazing team at Capacity to help our clients do their best work. It’s been amazing to see how much Capacity has grown in my time with the company, and I’m eager to see what the future holds.
What’s the next big goal that you plan to achieve this year (inside or outside of work)?
While it probably doesn’t come as a surprise, with COVID numbers trending downward and vaccines rolling out, I’m ready to get out and spend time with friends, family, and co-workers as we transition out of the “new normal” that came along with the pandemic. From a work aspect, I plan on working closely with our product and engineering teams, along with our clients, to implement some of the new products we’re developing.
What originally brought you to Capacity?
I was introduced to Capacity through Anthony Heumann, a former colleague of mine at my previous company. When I originally met Crystal Lewis and Tim Yeadon, I could tell that Capacity was a great company to work for. Based on Anthony’s rave review of Capacity, as well as the positive things I read online about Capacity (news and employee reviews on Glassdoor), I was very interested in joining the team. I was also eager to get back into the SaaS / Startup space after working in the IT field for three-plus years.
What originally led you to get into customer success?
Capacity introduced me to the Customer Success role, but I’ve always worked with clients and ensured that customers achieve success. I’ve worked in the financial services industry and with a Managed Service Provider for many years, but when I look back, most of my professional career has been in client-focused roles similar to Customer Success.
What’s your favorite part about working in customer success?
I enjoy working with our clients to design solutions for complex problems the most. This includes getting an understanding of our current processes, whiteboarding, working with our product and engineering team to develop a product or feature, and delivering a final product. Being hands-on throughout this process is extremely rewarding.
Capacity is proud to promote our team members to the next level in their career and we look forward to seeing everything that Dan does in his new role as Senior Customer Success Manager!
