There are many obstacles facing knowledge management implementation. One such obstacle is a local focus where one team member has all the answers. The local focus obstacle is addressed by adopting a network focus.
Another obstacle is a general fear that mistakes will be penalized, and so they don’t want to share the knowledge they have as they are unsure it will be helpful. And, another challenge is time. Some people feel they are too busy to share knowledge.
