Do we need a bottom-up approach to knowledge management implementation?

by | Apr 1, 2021

This will depend on the organization and how it typically operates. A top-down approach is one with executive sponsorship. Another approach is led by middle management with support from the top. Nonetheless, KM is about getting knowledge into team member’s hands.

As a result, a bottoms-up approach involves every stakeholder. Invariably, you can’t sustain KM if team members aren’t interested.
