Sometimes used interchangeably with robotic process automation (RPA), the term business process automation or BPA refers to the practice of using software to streamline repetitive, time-consuming tasks in the workplace. Just like RPA, the goal of BPA is to optimize productivity, improve employee and customer experiences, and reduce costs.
