Chatbots can manage a large variety of customer experiences, all at once. They don’t need to put customer A on hold to help customer B. Invariably, traditional experiences are not as effective as they used to be. Modern customers expect immediate service and responses. Customers are used to interacting with businesses from anywhere, at any time. Chatbots perform customer service by using NLP to understand what their customer is saying or wanting, and then providing an appropriate response. Further, chatbots do not have capacity restraints, they can resolve issues more quickly, and they can even anticipate customer needs.
